Muscles Forehead: in the diagram on page 57 you see the muscles that are shortened with the Forehead lift. The forehead becomes smoother, but drooping eyelids also benefit from the Forehead lift, as do the frown lines. Cheeks: muscles under the eyes and in the cheeks are shortened with the Cheek lift. This helps to reduce a deep nose/lip crease, but it also will also benefit the skin under the eyes. Remember that with the Cheek lift you should pull your mouth tightly over your teeth. Do the exercises rapidly, so don’t hold the position for too long. With the Derma-fitness exercises you do involve all the facial muscles. Mouth: you can see the course of the orbicular muscle on the diagram. With the Mouth (O) we strengthen and tighten that muscle, helping to firm up the skin round the mouth and on the chin. Jawline, chin, double chin and turkey neck: the Tongue lift involves the muscles of the jawline, chin and neck. When you are doing the Tongue lift, touch your jawline and neck and feel the muscles it involves; compare them with the muscles seen on the diagram.
